What Will Your Act of Greatness be Today?

” . . . I want it said of me by those who knew me best, that I always plucked a thistle and planted a flower where I thought a flower would grow.” Abraham Lincoln

Oftentimes when we think of greatness we think of grand gestures, but greatness comes in many forms, shapes and sizes.  One man’s greatness may be another man’s failure.

Too often we measure greatness against acts of others; when in fact we should be measuring greatness against ourselves.  What is on your list today?  For each item, as you work through it and complete it, ask yourself: “have I completed this task to my greatest ability?”  No matter how big or small the task ask yourself if you are applying your best effort.

If the answer is yes then you have achieved greatness.
