There is a book that said you need to identify the thing you hate to do the most and do that first thing when you get in the office. It’s called your frog and the act of doing the task is called eating your frog. Mine keeps hopping away from me this morning.
I just cannot find the motivation to eat that darn thing this morning. My dogs are not helping, as I look at them envious that they just sleep. No cares, no worries, no frogs to worry about consuming…well, there was that toad that Misfit found one day….but that is another story.
I have been working on miscellaneous things to be able to check them off my list today, but that darn frog just keeps staring at me! That is my little avoidance trick, do lots of little things to make myself believe I was so busy that I just did not have time to dine on that fine cuisine. Yeah, I know, it is sad.
So one of my checklist items was my blog and now that I am wrapping that up guess what – time to dine. Ugh. The funny thing is I know I will feel so much better once I just get it over with, I don’t know why I make this so hard on myself! I swear if my dogs could roll their eyes they would be doing so right now at me.
Anyone else ever have this issue? I would love to hear how you get over it and just eat the frog. I think I will go to my standard back up plan – crank the music and dance it out. But I really would love some suggestions! Happy eating!
